A background in Public Health informs every design solution.
Before becoming a kitchen and bathroom designer, Amber worked as a public health professional. As such, she has a broad understanding and knowledge of how a change in physical and cognitive functioning can decrease one’s ability to engage in the activities of daily living.
Our physical and mental capacities inevitably change as we age. This can include:
Decreased flexibility, mobility and strength
Diminished physical and mental endurance
Less balance while walking and bone fragility
Reduced hearing and poorer eyesight
Planning your future kitchen and bathroom now means you’ll be better prepared to accommodate any health challenges that may come with time.

“Being empty nesters gave us the opportunity to makeover “the kids” bathroom. Amber worked with us to design an updated full bathroom. She presented a set of designs, provided honest opinions, pros and cons, and was patient in answering all our questions. She provided us with a list of preferred contractors, ordered materials, and even delivered them. Amber is knowledgeable and easy to work with. We highly recommend her!”
