Today marks the debut of AElise Designs first blog posting. We look forward to sharing with you the world of living in place design – to aid you on your quest for an updated home that is functional, safe, comfortable and beautiful!

If you are familiar with our website - aelisedesigns.com – then you know that we are experienced, passionate and committed to providing award-winning design planning, project management and build phase consultation that results in those “I love my new space” moments for homeowners.

Updating your kitchen and bath spaces is a big commitment in time, resources and yes – patience. We believe that if you are equipped with knowledge on universal and accessible design best practices, products (cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, finishes, etc.), style choices, budget considerations, trends and innovations, you will be more informed and equipped to make decisions and collaborate with your remodeling professionals. And we believe you’ll be able to better appreciate and enjoy the results.

Our goal is to post a new article on a weekly basis. Based on our experiences and insight, we’ll cover issues such as “forever homes”, universal and accessible design issues, remodeling investments, smart home technology, kitchen and bath trends and innovations, etc. We look forward to your comments, insights, etc. Your engagement and input will assist in guiding us to address future topics of interest.
